Fate Of a Teacher II

Remember: "If education fails, everything will fail and if education succeeds nothing will fail".

Reiterating this phrase, I will make a brief and decisive elucidation on the type of education system and our parent's notion towards our teacher.

Today we are in a beautiful, comfortable, luxurious and compact world. Perhaps, it’s the collective and pooled ideas of our inordinate people, viz. experts, pilot, doctors, philosophers, scientists, engineers, lawyers, politician/law makers, accountant, guard and the officers.

Where did these people or the post come from or did they come down from so called as heaven or rise-up from the abyss?

All the profession, be it expert or a simple guard, the sole author are our books, pen and the teachers. Teaching profession is much like a debugger system for human society. They find errors, they beat us, they talk harsh, they put us in difficult situations, they punish us, they questions us, they criticize us but they never fail to teach us right lessons, they never fail to love and care us that is necessary for life existence.

So, knowingly we put back what is so essential for us to grow. We know that every comfort of life comes over the toil of education and teachers yet we never mind to questions, sue and blame them.

If engineers fail to design correct building drawings, it leads to definite collapsing of building and the uncertainty of structure is multiplied to thousand greater folds. If doctors fail to operate or prescribe wrong medicine it leads to dying of one soul and so on with other professions but look at the profession of our teacher, it looks or appears simple, less puzzling and less confusing yet their effect is enough to cost for many, many generations. If teachers fail to teach rightly without rebuff the whole nations will fail to become responsible citizens, no new discovery will take place and world will going to face series of baneful scene without the mention of education.

Today, through the advancement of ideas we could see world in smallest piece, finest discoveries, super machines, robot and other invisible innovations. How is it possible? Well, the full acclaim goes to our teachers. Hence, their sacrifice and suffering is beyond count. Then, our teacher should be placed on the top position in human society and deserves to be called as finest human.

But, rather we find our parents simply demanding to have best performance of their child, their child into big job without any bit of support and right moral. This kind of wave has been there for so long, so deeply rooted in the heart of our parents but better would be if worked together with our teachers in educating Youth and their child.

Nonetheless, what type of education and values, types of generation we wanted to see twenty years from now utterly lies today in the hands of our school teachers and in the hands of individual parents. Let’s never say it’s enough for educating our child and Youth otherwise we will fail as a whole nation.

Rather than pointing fingers and blaming education system for not doing enough justice, what if individual parents come forth, work equally and shoulder some heart changing roles like our teacher for the right education of our child and our Youth.

I feel nostalgic, looking at the life of each teacher, as if that they have done something wrong dreadfully in their whole life. I cannot easily stand and shake their feeling of dread which they are supposed to be the dynamite in the society.

They teach the world, they teach every essential skill for life. So, shall we demand separate democracy for their right, for our school teachers? Shall we?

Thieves Of Time!

source:google
Well, time is something very abstract quantity, where nobody has power to buy and sell it. But, everyone can use it in their own ways. It is also an intuitive phenomenon yet difficult to cope with it if it’s used carelessly; it'll never become an obsolete matter rather it has power to grasp one’s goals.

Thus, time management is nothing but a self-discipline, urgency concept and assertiveness. Time is a very unique phenomenon and it waits for none. Therefore, to be successful and gentle one need to effectively use time otherwise, success would be next to impossible, be it small or big, high or low.

Directly or indirectly time management is basically self-management or disciplining oneself. So, many a times we knowingly do not use time properly and lend up into big trouble and later we realize the value only when something goes wrong. The usage of time is an important component to lead a quality life. The issues like visualizing, planning, organizing and controlling can only be possible through the effective practice of time else it can easily steal every possession.

Possibly, our great personality would have excelled only through the effective use of time. Those who prepares early would certainly plan every work better and more organize ways than late. With the usage of time effectively one can ensure healthy habits, systematic working environment and things in order.

As, I relate my self-existence and the type of job I'm into requires full time denomination. Therefore, to be specific and particular I needed to work and organize time well. For, this what I usually do is going to workplace ten - fifteen minutes early myself to prepare mentally for the day's activity. Simply going little before to work place can definitely calm one's mind and bring quality work.

Moreover, the only way to win over time is by working and managing it well. There're many positive aspects of life if one can use time effectively, one gets full satisfaction of work, timely achievement of success and greater win win situations. There is always greater charm of controlling time rather than time controlling one's life.

Therefore, the major thieves of times in twenty-first century as I could see are as follows;
i.                  Social media called face-booking
ii.                 Telephone interruption
iii.                Lengthy socializing
iv.                Procrastination
v.                 Unclear objectives
vi.                Failure to set proper priority
vii.               Lack of self-discipline
viii.             Attempting to do many works at once

Therefore, if some wanted to have better, organized, well planned and systematic life one need to reverse all the points listed above.

Fate Of A Teacher

How many of you genuinely dreamed to become a teacher or wanted to join in any teaching institution? So, here I submit you both education scene and teaching job.

Looking at the recent allegation for the 'NFE instructor' against the usage of corporal punishment was not so agreeable. What is really going wrong in our education system and people today? Why are our people always going against their soul maker?
Source: google.com
Can it be possible to call teaching job a noble profession nowadays? There's a big doubt and often I believe there's falseness in it.

Personally, I felt teaching job has become rather hectic, odium, tiresome, un-safe, un-sound and un-healthy. Perhaps, it became the place for someone to release all their frustration/anger. Shall we continue to blame at each other when someone purposefully cannot perform well and score good marks in school activities? Where actually our people wanted to dump our teachers? What integration level do our people wanted to have form education?

Today as I've seen our people had gone so corrupt to earn free money simply suing teacher in the pretext of simplest punishment our teacher’s uses to fix some genuine matters in school environment. Thus, this kind of single headed prospective of our parents is the main suffer our education faces today.

Besides, parent I’ve seen some students from the same class blaming his or her own teacher at the end after learning so much values and assurance. Our parents and students never mind to sue their own school teachers and education section. When our people and students will understand each sacrifice, commitments, hardship and wisdom each teacher made through hardship hours. Rather, teachers are becoming a puppet and the play field of our students and parents.

When someone cannot perform well or someone cannot compete with others, our students or parents lend up grouchy feelings on syllabus being irrelevant, teacher being irresponsible, teaching not up to their level, teacher being not punctual and teacher not doing enough research on the content and so on. "Is it teachers or students or parents" who is lacking these rational?
source: google
Perhaps, the actual reality behind is our students being so irresponsible, not punctual and obedient on any class/school activities which they're supposed to do. And tell me how they can succeed without any hardship or is it that teacher needed to study and work for students. If this happens our parents would become so happy and pleased. But, the type of future and the Youth we would have is hump-bump.

Our students are simply making a physical presence to learn. So, if any teachers or any concern authority try to fix this kinds of situations then both students and parents will dislike but what they wanted is a good marks, well-educated son/daughter, discipline and getting a job. Tell me, can it be possible to make these all single headedly?

It is high time for our law makers to look into the matters and frame a realistic and futuristic law that protects our teachers otherwise teachers would face series of grave punitive reality in future. What, if our teachers are given few rights to fix simple and required school discipline in our Youth at least with well preserve and precise laws rather than everyone eyeing for the simplest and the slimmest actions taken for betterment of future leaders.

Honestly, what kinds of moral values and behavioural change do our parents wanted to have in their child at the end of schooling. Is it that they don't want their child with rightful education and self-existence skills?  As a citizen I've lost every hope, faith and trust to our society, the society regarded to have highest candid values and GNH minds.

Nevertheless, in the course of learning we face many defy and challenges yet we needed to proceed, needed to adjust, that is what we see in every teachers doing rightful hardship to position future generation but all in denunciation. Today, educating of Youth has become harder and riskier because both parents and students all wanted is to sue teachers. As I see life of our teachers is like a double edged sword.

Imagine a point - what and how would be your reaction when your child comes to you with little doubt? Imagine he/she did not catch as you wish, be honest and tell me how much calories of anger will you burn as a parent, brothers, sisters and the relative? We find always the other side of the land is greener and when we go there, we still find next point greener and it continues till the end. So, we say and we pass so many un-true comments without analysing the life of our teacher’s depth and we never realized their hardship. But, the doubt that your child came to you is fair of one part of millions. Just question yourself on how much anger did you release or thrown out when your child did not catch your teachings fairly few minutes before. Now think back, how much our teachers would have faced this kinds of similar and more painful setting of your child being not able to answer, your child doing most notorious actions inside the classroom, bullying some friends and negligent on any activities? Now, comprehend how much impulses and sacrifices you needed to make as a teacher?

Of course, everyone has equal right to defend them-self, go against and justify someone but not with every un-defined reason. As a Bhutanese we ne'er look back and side-wise skilfully. We only try to check and counteract other's faults without any deny.  Did you ever circle your own fault and did you ever ask your child’s fault before acting?

Shall we keep our Youth to change by God himself or shall we put rightful tools, discipline and knowledge right from the base. I guess in school our teachers having their fair segment of work are doing extremely powerful job in putting right shares of 'values and Driglam chesum' in our Youth. Yet our biased people seemed to never understand and be satisfied with the facts behind the Life Of a Teacher.

Let's not forget this as a parent - "If education fails, everything will fail and if education succeeds nothing will fail".

New Schools Concept

What is a central and autonomous school? It is exactly a new concept that we're adopting to change or to streamline our education system. But, still there is so much of confusion arising when things do not become clear.

At this time we needed some clarification on how to go on with the new reforms, how to handle overall teaching-learning section, some unique changes in this concepts, framework of policy. Since, the introduction was now amounting to almost one year and we still could see the same futuristic aspect in the sector.

So, with the introduction of 'central and autonomous' schools in the country there came buckets of challenges to function at its best, producing best of best result and should be a role model school and best learning center for every child. But, how far is the concern taken down or broadened from the top level to address this issue.

If one expects 'central and autonomous schools' to be called as the best education center or look up as an example, then there're many things to be considered and many issues need to be ironed out else it’ll remain the same.

Just updating through some of the national news channels I came to know that there was series of discussion being going on regarding central and autonomous schools on how to improve the performances with education ministry. But, my concern is that when this new reforms will going to start or it is just for the happening or are we waiting for next year to implement the policy. Then, we're entering into 'Dooms Day' for a new change.

Over, every change there should be some exception of change in rules based on its need. And there are no denying facts for central and autonomous school. If there isn't any change then we cannot say a change. There should be certain option given to the authority dealing immediately with the schools, either to respective school principals or to Dzongkhag education office, if anyone wanted to experience the change and feel betterment in education field.

The series of discussion has taken place to have a strong administrative unit in schools, identify and empower non-performing principals, discourage frequent transfer of principals and retaining good teachers. But, how effective it would appear when it comes to implementing the policy. What if the policy is looked upon or based on immediate change?

What has done so far to retain teachers who performed well, who put heart and soul in shaping the life of our youth, who had sacrificed millions thoughts and worked so hard for molding and taming of shrewd heart, what precept had taken by our concern authority on this long issues?

I felt that the present curriculum framework is so vast and too rigid for our education section. It needed to be developed according to the needs of the schools otherwise it would result no change in school performance and education system whatsoever is the newer changes that ministry brings in.

  • Our assessment is completely focused on academic unlike schools in other countries which have balanced focus.
  • Principal and teacher motivation mechanism should be in place through certain incentives or rewards.
  • Keeping teachers within the campus for better care of students was seen important as most of the teachers in boarding schools live outside the campus.
  • Need for shifting from academic to wholesome education is felt necessary to bring major changes and improving pay packages for central school teachers were some of the issues needed to be addressed with the changes.

The Brain behind Jangsa Animal Saving Trust - I

'Saving Of Life' - the big idea came from this big brain and the big heart.
Simply by saving the life of an animal's way into darkest realm of life cycle is the only way to feel one's pain and suffering back due dying option.
Thus, this brain stands so firm and rescues the life hardest or the life toughest or scariest path called 'Death'.

This non-profitable organization is working so hard in creating awareness on ‘Jangsa Animal Saving Trust’ for saving the life of animals across the country.
This organization teaches us a path of 'compassion and kindnesses one should have behind any animals' sorrows, sufferings, trivial and the pains.

Let's be Vegetarian and save the life of our animals that becomes our daily delicious curry.
Let us try and substitute 'flesh and bone' with fresh vegetables that would further enhance and boost our daily diet, growth in more natural ways than one.
Let us think of the sufferings one undergoes for Dying.
Let us try and save animals as far as possible because it is 100% like any of us.

'Thumbs up for this organization'.

e-ticketing service and smart card system!

What is this e-ticketing service for illiterate individuals?  And smart card system in pipeline? Perhaps little confused but the upcoming and streamlining of the system is a new journey, a new chapter and a new road for Bhutanese.
City Bus Stand Thimpnu
In the hope of greater public transport services in the capital city, the e-ticketing system for the city bus users. But the fact remains on how the new system would functions in Bhutanese society where maximum are not well informed and educated on where and how one gets excess to it.

With the new introduction of service, tickets for travellers will not be issued inside the bus, but have to be purchased from an authorized e-ticket outlet. The e-tickets will be available at shops that sell e-mobile vouchers, of which there are around 75 in Thimphu. But, the big question is where and how do our people travellers can find these outlet?
Will that outlet counters available for 24/7 and is it at possible accessible point? What about the people wanting to ride from the middle point or some common junction where there is no outlet ticketing services?
City Bus For Capital
Let me say what about the people residing as far as 'Simotokha, Basesa end, Hejo, Dechenchholing and so on'. Is it that they need to buy e-ticket from the town, go back and take a ride in city bus or can it be possible to get e-ticket at any point. Otherwise, I found little confusing on adopting the new system although it came for many good purposes in benefiting our commuters, else there has to be clear and easily accessible outlet services for e-tickets.
The service should benefit the travellers else it would become a doom rather than easing a common problem. The concept of bulk tickets available for Nu 50 and Nu 150 that can be used for multiple journeys is yet another problem, what if someone loses the ticket, what if someone miss uses someone’s ticket, is there any identification and judgment over this?
The concept of introducing new system is to manage the working of whole system more effectively and in professional ways but what about the existing service, what about the existing ticketing system that is being handled by the bus Driver and the conductors? Are they not responsible else appointing some of more responsible heads that would ease better than going with alien system?
Although we are relying on the old fashion of boarding city bus services but the new system is yet another challenging. Since for a short ride one has to travel all the way into the outlet center and access the service, one need to put in so much of energy, needed to check all the possible outlets for simple five minute drive.
However, the main idea of introducing e-ticket system is to lessen the revenue leakage but what about the reliable and efficient service to the public hereafter, city bus users. The main concern is for someone wanting to use city bus services during emergency travel or any point users.
What about the smart card system? On what point the introduction of smart card system is felt necessary for just few thousands of people? Did Bhutan reach to the point where the introduction of every foreign idea or system possible without being studying the feasibility nature. Is it Bhutan wanted to be too dependent on the foreign concept rather than dipping oneself into our own system and the nature of development. The concept of e-ticket and smart card system is for the well developed country where there is every excess to the facility and for the more educated people from the very old times.
What if they study the feasibility first and implement the system that would benefit entire nation rather than implementing and trying and finally failing the system. It's more like playing a trial game and if it works implement otherwise it will be a lost game, it will be a huge lost for country's economy and as a whole we are failing as a nation. Check... check.... check...before implementing any new system…
